My question involves an injury that occurred in the state of: Illinois
I had an injury at work the resulted into a doctors visit and then they sent me to get my left shoulder an MRI. The MRI report said full thickness tear. So they said pick a doctor of your choice and let's start the process of surgery. Meanwhile the insurance company sent me for a second evaluation and that doctor again said yes surgery. I went to my first follow up since surgery last week. My doctor indicated that he didn't do any rotator cuff repair and all he actually did was clean my bone spurs up. First of all how can a MRI report go from full thickness tear to no tear at all. Keep in mind I've been off work waiting for this process for 8 weeks cause work doesn't have light duty. What are my legal options? Kind of upset cause I've missed all this work and we work tons of overtime.
