Here's the thing. None of the lawyer referral sites are going to let anyone say anything bad about a lawyer that is paying them money for advertising. Secondly, the Law Societies will not tell you how many complaints were filed against any lawyer, because they also collect annual membership fees. They would actually sit mum and let you hire lawyer that just got out of prison for grand theft, rape, or even attempted murder. The law society has no online database of lawyer rating either. So how the hell are you supposed to know if you are getting a great lawyer or a dirtbag? I think this is a legitimate question especially after I read this complaint online about someone who previously claimed he never had any complaints filed against him. Now we all know better - here is one helluva a complaint...
