Currently, My brother is working for a big company and he has been in some trouble with girl who was working there as a temp.
Alright, so the whole story is that he was facing a lot of emotional trouble in the last month. First, he got his ex pregnant, this girl and my brother use to have casual sex and that led to her being pregnant and then abortion and other complications. The bottom line was that his head was in a shit hole. Due to all this, he started talking to a girl from work. This girl have had drug issues from the past and she was in recovery for past 4-5 years. So one day my brother goes to this girl to discuss the ex girlfriend problems. After consoling him, they make out but doesn't have sex.
After a week he realizes that he is falling into pattern and needs to break it and he comes clean to that girl. The girl is heart broken and very emotional. After a lot of talking and pleading he convinces her that it was his mistake and that they can be good friends.
They kept talking for about a month and then last Friday, she has a huge fight with her boss and she asks my brother to transport her stuff to a place cause she wanted to go and get drugs. My brother refused to do anything for her and tried to talk her out of using again. That night she did it anyways. We had plans that last weekend to meet our parents in New Jersey. After getting high that girl messaged him and said she was sorry and all. After about 2 hours of talking to her, he got her to get help as he doesn't know how to help her. My brother has never done drugs and he doesn't know how to get someone into recovery. So, he asks her to contact someone from her NA group and to stop using. After a while, she stopped text him and got clean.
Then, this Sunday she texted him again. And he lied to her in order to get her to stop texting him as he is afraid about him getting involved with the cops and things. On Monday, she got fired and was furious. My brother calmed her down and brought things to prospective and told her that she will get a new job. But if she keeps texting him, while she is also doing drugs, he will get in trouble and need to stop doing that. He told her that if she wants to do drugs, then to she should loose her number.
Now, she has not text him since. But he is freaking out and I don't know what to tell him so I am asking you.
According to what I think there are three possibilities of what she can end up doing:
1. doing drugs and loosing the house and be on the streets and cops catching her using.
2. killing herself, like od or something
3. she accusing my brother of assault during that one time when they met. Where everything was consensual.
4. finding a job and getting along with her life.
If any of the first three things happens, will my brother be in trouble?
can anyone provide any help. I don't know how to help him and he is freaking out.
