My question involves bankruptcy in the state of: Virginia
So I had a 2000 chevrolet truck financed with Cap 1 which was included in my bankruptcy..That was 5 years ago and I haven't made a payment on it since..They have never repossessed the truck! It is still registered in my name with tags and insurance..Is there a time limit on which they have to act? can I make them release the title to me since its been 5 years and they haven't made any effort to contact me or take the truck? I would like to get rid of this vehicle.
