My question involves juvenile law in the State of: Louisiana.
Ok. I'm 17 and I live in Louisiana. I've moved out and I live with a friend. I can't go back home because I was told that in Louisiana if you leave you can't go back at 17 because you've turned 17 and your parents don't have to let you back in. I was wondering if I could enroll myself into school. I have all of my documents that are needed and emancipation would take too long.
Could her mom enroll me? Or do I have to go home? Can my parent just enroll me and me not be under their roof? What are my options?
Thanks!
