My question involves traffic court in the State of: AL
Today I received a ticket for going 41 mph in a 25. I think the cop went only off radar, because I didn't even see him pull onto the street until I was already slowing down to turn. He was pulling onto the opposite side of the road about a quarter mile ahead of me as I was turning left to proceed to work. I didn't even know he was following me until I had reached my destination, the parking lot where I work and I was already exiting my vehicle to walk in. He pulled up in the space behind me and stopped me to write me a ticket. I was annoyed but cooperative. Is the fact he was no where visually near me, and so far away that he must have lost his visual of me several times enough to fight the ticket? I need to get his notes so I can be sure what he'll say.
