Suspended License

I was pulled over and arrested a few days ago. The cop scanned my plate and found my license is suspended and I have a warrant for a failure to appear from years ago (I had no idea). I was let go because the jail was full. My court date is in a week and a half and I am completely terrified I’ll be going to jail. I’m not a law breaker and so I have no idea what to expect. How do I take care of a warrant?? Can I pay a fine and it disappears? I don’t know :(
