My question involves landlord-tenant law in the State of: Illinois.
I am a renter townhouse community. I want to start off by saying that my landlord is very respectful and he is not the issue.
The association for our community has recently implemented a plan to evict all the renters. We are no longer allowed to renew our leases after they are up.
The policy of the homeowners association is to only have 10% renters in our community.
our neighborhood currently has a slim-to-none crime rate so I do not think that is the issue.
Is this legal?
