My question involves guardianship of non citizen children
My friend is in the U.S on a green card, he is not a citizen. He brought his two minor children to the U.S from Jamaica. Neither child is a citizen.
My friend wants to give guardianship of said children to a U.S citizen. The childrens mother resides in Jamaica and is against him giving a stranger guardianship of her children.
Does she have any rights to object and can he legally give guardianship in the U.S of non citizen minors to a U.S citizen.
