Ownership Rights: Not Sure if Im at Risk of Losing My Property or Not

My question involves personal property located in the State of: Missouri.

Hello,

A couple weeks ago my uncle suddenly passed away and I have property (3 fork lifts) on his landlords property. I was given verbal permission to have them there and paid rent/storage fees to my uncle in the form of covering the electric bill at this storage lot/warehouse. My uncle was behind on his rent without an eviction notice and co-leased the property with another tenant. The landlord seems ready to work with me and doesnt seem interested in keeping my lifts but he's wanting to wait 30 days after my uncle passed to release any property to me. He's verbally told me that the forklifts are fine on his property and that he'll work with me after this 30 day period. Im not sure if I lose my rights to the property after this 30 day period or not. Im worried the landlord might try to keep and sell my lifts.

I do have bills of sales and invoices for the lifts in my name. I would actually would like to keep my lifts there if possible for now but I can move them if I have to.

Thanks for any help. I really do appreciate it.
