Transfer of Title: Financed a Car Over a Year Ago and Still Have No Plates or Registration

My question involves a consumer law issue in the State of: Texas

I financed a car over a year ago and can't legally drive the car because I never received plates or registration. The dealership I purchased from closed maybe 2 months after I signed paperwork. They did not send paperwork for title transfer. I have purchased 3 temporary plates already and can not purchase anymore so now I can't drive vehicle. The loan company has been no help. They did send me a letter 7 months after purchase telling me they located the title from an auction and told me they are waiting for them to send the title. A couple months go by and still nothing. So I called the auction company and they gave me the tracking #, the date, and person who signed for the title at the finance company. Of course I call the finance company and give them that information, they told me they have not reveived. They told me they will suspend my account until I get plates and registration, I receive multiple calls daily about a payment. Is there any legal action I can take or can i get out of loan? I have contacted DMV and made a complaint to BBB.

Thank you
