My question involves real estate located in the State of: Florida.
We would like to put a 2nd story addition on our garage which will require a variance due to the setback requirements of the existing structure.
In order to get the local board to consider approving the variance, I must get both of my neighbors to sign off (it isn't required
but the odds of getting approval are slim without them).
I have drafted a letter for the neighbor to sign so that I can present it to the zoning board but am unclear what I should include in the letter.
What do you suggest? Short and sweet? or ????

To Whom It May Concern:
I, John Doe, reside at 123 Main St, Tampa, FL 33629.
The adjacent neighbors, Jay & Jane Doe, at 125 Main St, Tampa, FL 33629 have sought my approval regarding their project for a 2nd story addition to their garage.
This letter serves to acknowledge that I am in agreement and approve of their addition.
Sincerely,
John Doe,"
