My question involves court procedures for the state of: Indiana.
I recently received the paperwork for an order granting motion for a garnishment order. The only paperwork i ever received was for the initial hearing. I contacted the court and the attorney for the plaintiff that i could not attend on that day. I contacted the attorney several times to discuss the amount the client was asking for because i do not agree with it. I never heard a thing from the attorney and the court told me to try and contact them or the debt collector. Now i have this order and i am not sure what to do and how to proceed seeing as i do not agree with the amount i am being sued for.
