My question involves a child custody case from the State of: Texas
I have a son in Texas, my residence is in Michigan so I dont know if that changes anything. But Im laid off from working my seasonal job(that makes more money) and working a regular job I found until I get called back in. I have to go to court in March for child support and if they base it off my pay of the job Im working, do I have to report my increase of wages when I start my other job again?
Does me having another child with my wife change how much I pay to my sons mother ?
Also the only reason I having to go to court over child support is because my sons mother started getting state assistance for some reason, if she takes him off of her case for assistance will I still have to be court ordered to pay child support through the court?( before this I was helping and giving money directly to her)
