My question involves a No contact orders in the State of Ohio: My boyfriend received a DV charge against him a few months ago. The courts placed a no contact that was apart of his plea deal, that was able to be dropped if he followed his plan of counseling and drug counseling that I asked the courts to do. We stayed in separate homes but managed civil parenting through time. Unfortunately, during a time I was in a rush. I worked and needed some food and his dad took me to the store but had to take him, as well due to appointments afterwards. So we were in the store together , on camera. Neither one of us got caught . But, the same day cops tried saying he robbed an old lady during the time we were at the store. In fact, I have a message via social media of someone telling us cops needed to speak to him while on the way back. Which be proved by camera. The no contact order was dropped two months ago. He completed his counseling , so it's no longer in place. At this time, we can avoid the whole charge since he was in a complete different town but the only worry of bringing up those cameras for courts, just to prove his innocence is them using the fact he wasn't supposed to be around. My question is will they charge him for violating a no contact, even after it's dropped and he's on misdemeanor probation due to this DV charge. But it's a no show probation. He is and has done everything he's supposed too and they know we're back together and he's still passed every drug screen and has not been violent since he's been sober. For more info on case :The elderly was robbed by a bank and post office and they said there was no cameras. They refused to provide much detail but that she picked him in a picture line up. But, they have changed their story multiple times. Stating that he "supposedly took twenty dollars and the lady said the man was no taller then 5"11. He is 6"5" so we don't understand why he was in the line up to begin with. He also had four people stating where he was and cops threw the statements out. Prosecutor said in courts they need to pull some cameras or extra proof and still hasn't done so. The cops around here have harrassed me day in and day out when the no contact was in place coming to my house every day and trying to say someone said they seen him at my house. Every single time I proved them wrong. Even told them they can search my house. I was at work and was able to prove so, they someone saw him through the window sitting on the couch with me. For one, all my windows are blocked off for two he was , at that time allowed at my house as long as I wasn't there because we had a child together and her clothes and diapers we're in my house. I gave his dad my keys just for that reason. I can prove all of this on court, I don't know if that can help prove how much they are trying to get him locked up but that's how serious and determined they are. The harassment got so bad that I had to tell them to leave me alone and stop harassing my child and me. I'm also pregnant and it caused tons of stress.
