My question involves a traffic ticket from the state of: California
I got a fix-it ticket for not having current tabs on my license plate. I've got a couple questions about errors on the ticket.
The officer wrote the date of violation as 8/3/17. That may be the date that I was supposed to put new tabs on, but the date I was pulled over is much later. What is the date supposed to be?
The officer listed the model year of my car as 2013, but the model year is 2005. Does it matter?
The officer listed my body style as 4DR, but it's a wagon. Does it matter?
The officer listed my color as GRY, but it's silver. Does it matter?
I'll do what the fix-it requires regardless. But I don't want to have to appear or pay some $25 dismissal fee for a ticket with several factual errors on it. How to get out of paying anything?
