My question involves a traffic ticket from the state of: Danbury, Connecticut
I received a speeding ticket today in Danbury, Connecticut; 14-219(c)(1) - Speeding Violation; motor vehicle.on I-84W @8:02 this morning.
The officer said I was going about 80 MPH but I believe I was going about 60-62 MPH. He mentioned that the ticket is under section 1 and DMV would not add points to my license if I plead "no contest" and pay the ticket ($259). However, the incident will be reported to my insurance company - I'm not sure how I should proceed.
I am interested in the CT Practice 36-11 process, does anyone know the actual process?
Or any other advice on what would be the best course of action in this situation would be greatly appreciated.
Thanking you all in advance,
Marlene
