Hello every one.. my name is Alex and I really need help!
My lovely mom has raised my brother and I by her self in this foreign country. She is not fluent with English, she is weak but she brought us all the way here. She is currently working at home care, seems like taking care of seniors funded by government.
She's been working there way more than 5 years but she gets pay less then friend I just recently met who has worked way less time. My mom worked "day" and "night" shift, she was more dedicated then others and she took care all her patients with full of passion and dedication. She told me, she asked for raise but only response came back was to wait. How long does she needs to wait... Another years? I think this is unfair that hard working employee like her doesn't get raise at all and working the life out of her for no future. I wanted to give her foot massage and took her socks off and I couldn't stop crying seeing her destroyed feet... I feel such a bad son not knowing what was going on with her life and just living my life. I just want to correct something that is unfair. She couldn't switch job because this is the only way she could pay her bills. Please, I just want to help my poor mom. She've done too much for me already and I want her to be treated well. At least get fair wages for her dedications and years she've worked there. I feel angry and upset for those selfish and greedy employer. I apologize for my emotional statements but I desperately need help. Anything could help so please provide me the best solutions for my mom's raise situation. Thank you!
