My question involves malpractice in the state of: Virginia
I had a vasectomy in 2006. I got tested twice afterward with a negative sperm count both times. My Dr. gave me the "all clear". Eight years later, I was dating a woman from 2014 to early 2015. In Feb. of 2015, she informed me that she was pregnant. Needless to say, I broke it off with her immediately. In Oct. of 2015, she gave birth to a baby girl. F/F to 2017, after a paternity test, I am now paying $626 a month in child support and have a two year old daughter. The baby is a special needs child due to a medication my ex was on when the pregnancy occured, Accutane. At the very least, can I sue for the equivalent of child support payments and medical bills for a special needs child as well as emotional distress?
