Hello, I was wondering what is the process of Medi-cal planning? Mom has assets that she is planning on paying for her medical coverage for now, but those funds don't last for ever and nothing will be left over for my brother and I to inherit if we don't plan correctly.
I keep reading about medi-cal planning where you can maintain your current assets if you put it into a irrevocable trust and then go to the state 3-5 years later and apply for medi-cal.
