First Speeding Ticket, 97 in a 65 MPH Zone

I was returning home from working in Sacramento tonight around and was pulled over clocked at 97 in a 65 on an empty I-5 around midnight. Of course, I received a ticket. The officer cited it as VC 22349(a) and not a misdemeanor (thank God) and I am due in superior court in a few months.

I am 21 and have been driving since I was 16. My record is otherwise spotless and this is my first time being pulled over in my whole life. I don't mind paying the fine, but I am still registered under my parents' insurance policy and do not want their rates to go up because I zoned out (I have slept 4 hours total in the past 2 days due to school). What can be done? I understand traffic school is not guaranteed since this is an infraction above +26mph, but what are the chances that a judge will permit it since this is a first time offense? Likewise, since this is a first offense, I have no idea how these court proceedings work. In my situation is it better to plead guilty or not guilty? Also, if I do receive a point on my license, will my parents' rates (Geico) go up immediately? Should I

Please help!
