My sons mother and i share 50/50 custody and do our best to make the time we have him even throughout the year. But when it comes to tax time every year, her mother, who my son and his mother live with, claims my son as a dependant and i give in in fear of her powerful attorney and threats. Do i automatically overpower my sons grandma in claiming him next year? We have no order in court for parenting time. Only my child support because i make money and she doesnt work at all. And with the time being so close, would i just put he lived with me 7 months in the year?
