Father Has Not Had Any Contact with Children for 5 Years

My question involves a child custody case from the State of: Pennsylvania

Hello.. okay -I am meeting with my attorney on all of this in 2 days to go over everything and figure out what to do- but in the mean time I really need advice.. I have 2 children age 6 and 7 and their biological father has had no part in their lives since we broke up in 2011. I have made attempts for him to see the children throughout the years I have even pleaded with him to be apart of their lives but he has always said he’s to busy or works to much. His own family has even tried to get him to be apart of the children’s life and it’s always a lost cause.. he has since married and adopted his wife’s other children and had 3 of his own with her. Well a month or so ago I got papers in the mail requesting a meeting about custody and him receiving visitation.. which I am okay with as long as the visits could be supervised until the children get to know him better and feel safe.. but the order I received in the mail wants me to meet him in a public place once a week and leave my children with him for 2 hours. I’m not okay with that especially being they don’t know him and aren’t comfortable going with a complete stranger - even after explaining to them who he is and re assuring them I would be back to get them. The proposed order has been signed and dated by a judge already and I’m not trying to be held on contempt or deny him time with my children.. I just feel as if they should be doing supervised visits or even counseling first before he can just take them unsupervised.
