My girlfriend and I are having a child together, unexpectedly. We will be living together soon. She had a difficult separation/divorce and not looking to get remarried right away. What are my rights as father? Do i have to take paternity test? Are my rights different since we arent married? It seems the system favors married couples over nonmarried couples.
