My husband is currently in a lot of pain at work right now. He has contacted his supervisor to let her know that he needs to go to the hospital because he can barely use his arm. She told him that she would not allow him to leave but she'll report about his pain and try to find a replacement for him. He does not want to walk out but the pain is unbearable for him. Can she legally keep him from going to the hospital?
