Roommates: Damage to a Roommate's Property

My question involves personal property located in the State of: Colorado

So, I have a question and I could be in the wrong place but so my now ex roommate was renting a TV through Aaron's and they left for the week and asked if I would watch their dogs (one larger, one smaller) and when I went out to get food for dinner the last day of the week, I came home and the TV was knocked off the stand and fell on top of her toddlers toy car (that you can sit a kid on, and they can push the car around) so obviously I freaked out and let her know verbally, when she came home which was only 3 hours after I came home.. so it's not like I waited the whole week to tell her.

She told me not to worry about it, that she would talk to Aaron's and work something out in which, she told me Aaron's would make her pay for a membership for 3 months, on top of her monthly payments and they would replace it. Which was awesome.. Since online there are horror stories that Aaron's will make you pay in full for a broken TV.. and I even offered to pay it for her since it happened basically on my watch, even though it wasn't my fault.. But I didn't want their to be any problems with the living situation so it was easier to just pay her bill of $90 every month with a 10.00 membership few.. $100 a month for three months is a lot more dueable than paying $600 up front to have the TV sent to be fixed and I didn't want to deal with female drama in our house.

Moving forward, my month to month lease was ending and when I was picking up my last few items, she came up to me and told me again not to worry about the TV. That she had everything taken care of.. This was on the 25th of October.. Now jumping further on to this month, she made a snarky message on Facebook about how she was going to sue her roommate (me) for breaking her TV..

And I guess my question is, can she do that.. Can she sue me for a TV that broke, even though I'm not the one who broke it.. Just the only one home? There is no proof that I broke it.. Not even messages between us discussing the TV or what was going to happen. Everything was strictly verbal.. I even offered to pay for it to be fixed while living there and now scared to be taken to small claims over something I didn't do, because I know obviously she can try to sue me.. But what are the chances a judge will pursue the case with the lack of proof? At this point, it's just a bunch of "she said - he said" I don't really know what to do..
