My question involves business law in the state of: California
I have a solo practice law firm set up as a PLLC in my state of residence. I recently received news that I passed the California bar exam, and I would like to reserve my law firm's name in California so that someone else with my (relatively common) name doesn't get it first.
I see that California doesn't allow law firms to be a PLLC or even an LLC. What would be the best way for me to register my law firm as a foreign entity in California?
