Conservator NFP and guardianship for medical have been assigned to me.
I do not hear back from the GAL what these mean, specifically.
May I keep a paycheck?
Am I allowed to obtain assets, such as a vehicle?
Should I become an inheritor, may I keep the inheritance?
If not, may I petition the court for a hearing to keep a paycheck, have assets, keep an inheritance?
I had wanted to contest originally, told bc I am financially dependent I cannot.
Neither of the petitioners had any idea what my diagnosis was, and took an old one into the court. Neither has been responsible with my person or healthcare, but I cannot contest. I am worried about my safety.
Are either of these a permanent state? Can I petition the court to end them when I am no longer financially dependent?
So many questions, but my main concern right now is work and a paycheck.
Thank you for reading.
I appreciate any help or advice, but please, I would appreciate feedback from an actual attorney.
Thank you.
