My question involves criminal law for the state of: California
My daughter (age 16) foolishly sent nude photos of herself to a boy two years ago. At the time she was 14 and he was 16 or 17. Two years later (now he's 19) he's come back telling her that he still has her pictures. No threats, but just ominous. What are my options? Would the police charge my daughter for a crime for sending those photos? Can I take any legal action against him now that he's an adult in possession of photos of a minor?
