My question involves labor and employment law for the state of: NEVADA
Wheelchair bound handicapped person was hired by a state agency for a receptionist position.
This person had difficulty getting to work at exactly 8am due to an embarassing medical reason.
This person was written up for being late. After this person approached HR to ask for an
accomodation for this medical problem, they were terminated and no reason was given (since
they were still in their 6 month probation period).
No effort was made by the state agency to consider any accomodation for this individual.
Are they screwed or do they have any recourse ? thanks
