My question involves a child custody case from the State of: New Jersey
I'm new in this country , I stayed here because I got pregnant from my boyfriend, then we got married and I got a temporary green card for two years. Important to mention that he didn't sponsor me , it was the friend of his mom. Now he is working and I take care of the baby . Our relationships spoiled badly . He told me that if we divorce he will say in court that I married him for papers and paid him , so he receives a full custody . Plus he is american. But he has two convictions, he smokes marijuana and has a history of taking narcotic drugs and a chronic anxiety. However , he still sure that he will win the court. He says that they can give custody to his mom .
Please , help me , what should I do in this situation? Do I have chance to win the trial ??
