My question involves a child custody case from the State of: VA
My previous support was around $600 plus $300 insurance for kid, new one, after appeal, will be $1400, first because custodial parent claims that instead of usual IT salary (like $90000) now she has own business with income only $25000, second - allowed daycare expenses included into main child support. As hearing officer said, no matter what, I'll have to pay daycare even if there will be no such thing, which is sound strange. We had similar situation before when she claimed being unemployed, and even if DCSE representative said case will be modified once she will get a job - it never happened, till three years later i had rights for review.
I don't really want messing with court, it's my kid, etc, but on other hand, amount of the raise is quit sensible to me, especially for three years. Anything can be done about it?
