My question involves criminal law for the state of: Child Support issue.
My boyfriend is applying for a managers position at a law firm. He is well qualified for the position however, the application addresses a certain question as: Have you ever been convicted of a crime other than minor traffic offenses? In 2015, he was charged on outstanding child support in which the appointed lawyer did not represent him in a way that he should have. wallbang: Nevertheless, he was sentence with 5years on probation and a currency of so many of dollars. With that being said, he now has a felony with a state that refuses to discharge him even thou he has been paying. How should this be worried on his application? And what legal options can you advise for him to have this removed from his record?:wallbang
