My question involves juvenile law in the State of: Kansas
A 17 year old was walking the halls of a closed down elementary school. He caused NO damage and he didn't steal anything. He only had his phone on him, he was not posing a threat. The doors to the school were unlocked, a guard found him and cuffed him as they waited for an officer to get to the school. He was very respectful to each officer. They charged him with Juvenile Criminal Trespass. Does he get a fine? If so what is the possible cost? Or does he get a different action taken?
