My wife a couple of years ago Took a neighbors teenager to the emergency room when she was staying with us. Now my wife has the bill from that visit on her credit report. My wife had talked to the collectors in the past and in formed them that she was not the child's legal guardian and was just helping out. Is this legal for them to try to get this debt from my wife? How can she fight to get this removed from her credit report?
