Settlements: Can an Injured Worker be Forced to Accept a Settlement

My question involves workers compensation law for the state of: Florida
I have a lawyer that negociated a settlement with no authorization ,Now rhe insurance try to force this settlement that include my S.S and labor complaint with no authopization from the other lawyer that represent me in the other case.He resign but put a alien in the case.
Now I need to represent myself because the lawyer say that is to complicate. Any sugestion
