My question pertains to an absconding with child case in the state of Texas:
My sons father was supposed to have my son for 2 weeks at the end of the summer (We have no custody order in place) . When it came time for my son to come home, his father never dropped him off, blocked my number blocked my social media ignored all attempts of communication. I live 3 hours away. I haven't spoken to my son in 3 months I haven't seen him in 7 months. He just turned 5 years old. Someone told me I can pick him up from school as long as I bring proof that I'm his mother. Can someone please help me!
