My question involves a child custody case from the State of: Nevada.
My child is nine years old. I am the father listed on the birth certificate. I have full custody and have raised my child since birth and the biological mothers rights have been terminated because she hasn't been around since birth. I found out through a DNA test that I am not the biological father. I looked up who was said to be the biological father and he is now deceased. Does my child qualify for SSI to go towards college and other necessities or is it pointless pursuing this for my child? I also don't want to give up my rights or be removed from birth certificate so what would happen?
