My question involves a traffic ticket from the state of: california
Hello all, and thank you in advance,
Swim has been charged with four misdemeanor offenses...two counts of hit and run and two counts of reckless driving with bodily injury...
...swim was on a medication which caused swim to blackout and while in this blackout swim hit a moving car and took off before all necessary info was exchanged, also hit a parked car and did not stop at all.
Then a third accident occured and both cars were damaged and drivers of both those cars were taken to the hospital for minor injuries...swim was alone, and had minor internal injuries as a result. other car had a passenger, passenger got a small cut on his forehead from sun visor, the driver complained of neck pain...swim does not remember any of this so is all based on a police report.
Swims insurance settled everything with all parties.
My question is what can/ should swim expect for penalties on these four misdemeanor charges?
Swim does not have a criminal record, and there were no charges for driving under the influence....swim has also hired a very good lawyer with an excellent reputation.
All help is greatly appreciated.
