My question involves labor and employment law for the state of: New Jersey
My employer is asking me to pay employer's part of contribution towards health insurance while i was on FMLA. I already paid my part of contribution while i was on FMLA but my employer is saying that whenever an employee is on FMLA, employers don't pay for health insurance and therefore i need to pay my part + employer's part to continue my health insurance while i am on FMLA. I am not sure if this is correct ? But i would sincerely appreciate if someone can shed some light on this.
