A Jamaica female friend was mugged a couple of weeks ago.The police came and she filed a police report .She has over stayed her visa. I was told by a friend that she now can file for a "U-VISA" because she is a victim of a crime. Any advice. Also if she can must she hire a attorney, and or a Legal service preparer .Her brother inlaw is a legal service preparer, or can she file by herself ?
