My question involves personal property located in the State of: Pennsylvania (Bucks County)
I was recently part of a very bad break-up. The man I was living with threw me out of the house, and changed the locks the next day. At this point I was at his mercy as to when I could retrieve my things. He started leaving things outside for me, because he didn't want me in his house. He told me anything left in the house belongs to him now, and he won't consider returning any of it to me. Also, when I got my motorcycle from his garage, I realized he had stripped it of anything he helped me pay for or purchased for me. I have pictures of the bike before and after I left it with him: someone told me I'm entitled to get the bike back in the same condition I left it with him in, but I don't know if this is true.
In addition, there was a point in our relationship where he was out of work, and I was paying the mortgage every month, directly to the bank. We didn't have any type of lease agreement between us, nor was my name on the mortgage or deed. Am I within my rights to have any of that money paid back to me?
