My question involves real estate located in the State of: Oregon.
My question is a neighbor on one side of me, his family and now he owns that house, I've been in this house for 8 years, paying my mortgage every month. Neighbor said they put the fence up years ago, long before I've been here. He says it wasn't put up on the property line, it was built more on his property. Well now after 8 years of being here he is saying I can not hang any nails or anything on my side of the fence. And in the back yard he put a sign up saying I have to take down things that I have hanging on the fence. He even climbed up from his side of the fence and put the sign on and brought down a tarp I had covering some lawn tools. He can not see any of this unless he looks over the fence. Where do I stand by law concerning my side of the fence. Can he regulate what is in my yard and on the fence.? Thank you for any information I can get.
