Settlement: How to Protect Yourself After Winning the Lottery

My question involves court procedures for the state of: In the highly unlikely event that you win the lottery there is tons of evidence to support that you will be subject to lawsuits. Tons of people from all around will want a piece of the pie and you will find yourself being sued for talking to that girl on Facebook and saying hey sexy from 4 years ago and she will claim sexual harassment. My question is how do you protect yourself against this. What if you walked into the gas station purchased a winning ticket and after you claimed your winnings someone claimed that you had agreed verbally to share half of your winnings (even though you never really did). This would make it hard for the judge because there is no proof of what actually happened so people can basically just lie and say things that are not true to try and take your money. My reason for this question was sparked when I started reading lottery winners stories and hearing how one girl named marie holmes won 188 million dollars and a pastor from a church sued her for 10 million dollars claiming that she had agreed verbally to the share of the winnings. It seems like you never know who you can trust.
