My question involves a consumer law issue in the State of: Illinois
I'm not sure if this is the correct place to post this but here goes.
I recently had new windows installed with a finance contract in place to begin payments 6 months after the windows were installed (January 2017). I was contacted this past week by the owner of the company that installed the windows to inform me that their contracts with the finance company had been cancelled. This was due to the owner having a dispute with another customer and them reporting him. He accepts full responsibility but is now trying to get me to accept a new payment plan, with much higher payments, to begin in October. This is not what was agreed upon in the contract signed but I do not know what my options are. If anyone has any ideas that would be a great help, thank you.
