My question involves personal property located in the State of: Missouri
Hey folks, sorry if this is in the wrong place. There are quite a few factors in this question. My wife and I recently purchased property at a tax auction consisting of three city lots with a home on them. I know we have to wait the 90 days for a tax deed and then file for a quiet title. We know the person who owned it and they have no interest in the property and just asked if they could remove items from inside the home. This isnt the problem. There is a man in town who junks for a living and his junk is strung all over our small town. He claims that he owns a lot that does not exist and some of his junk (semi trailers, a truck) is about 40ft onto our new property. Is there a way to make him move it? Theres no telling how long it has been there. Will a tax sale void his chance at adverse possession?
