My question involves a child custody case from the State of: California. Last year I found out I had a child, Child protective service contacted me. I immediately jumped on board and took custody of my son who is 10 yrs. old. These last several months has been difficult and my son wants his older sister to have custody of him. There is nothing criminal about me and I believe I can raise the kid, however, I don't believe I can give my son the emotional support that he needs at this point in my life. I have contacted his sister which is 25 yrs. old and she would love to have custody of him. I want my son to be happy and have a stable emotional life that I cannot give. I understand I am his father but at the same time I am also new to his life at the age of 10. What can I do to give his sister parental custody of him? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
