My question involves malpractice in the state of: Louisiana. My grandmother was at a rehab hospital. On Tuesday morning at around 130am my grandmother fell out of the bed due to the nursing staff failing to put the rail up. This resulted at the time to what they believed to be a broken shoulder, bruising on her face and neck pain. The rehab hospital staff told her she would be transported to the hospital as soon as a bed was ready. At around 36 hours after the fall she was transported to the hospital. Once she was at the hospital they found out she had broken her neck. My question is can the rehab hospital be held responsible for her injuries?
