I had a misdemeanor for possession of cannabis (<2.5g) last August. I'm trying to find information regarding the expungement process after the senate bill 2228 took effect last Friday. I understand that records for getting a ticket of possessing less than 10g will be expunged automatically within 6 months, but do I still have to wait the full 2 years since my incident happened before the new law took effect?
