My question involves a consumer law issue in the State of: Missouri.
Hello and Thank you in advance for any advice or help given.
I am disabled and I recently purchased a used vehicle from a local used car dealership. I feel as if I have been defrauding in many ways and I am beside myself. I am wondering the consumer laws in my situation.
First being there was not a sign in the window as I read there was suppose to be. Yet They did say there was not a warranty on the vehicle.
The inspection they provided was fake/lies. I showed them the tires were dry rotted and they promised to replace them and didn't. I had a tire come off the rim and I was lucky I wasn't killed. I had my own inspection done and showed multiple things wrong and they have refused to fix anything and have not reimbursed me for anything.
Then I found out the engine was replaced and I had not been told this (by them). I have been broke down basically the entire time I've had the car and non stop tried to talk to them. After 2,000 in bills I found out that when they swapped the engine, the check engine light was dis engaged completly forever, IT NEVER COMES ON. That the engine was not grounded so it had fried out all electrical stuff and this was due to the swap of the engine. They refuse my calls and messages and everything.
The entire thing has been a nightmare and I have spent all my money trying to repair all the rigging and all the damages and its a nightmare. Like I said, I am disabled and I am out of money to keep working on this nightmare and I'm at the end of my rope emotionally, financially and just a mess.
From m what I've read online this is all illegal. Can I get opinions.?
